Radio Review for the Visually Impaired
These pocket sized radio’s pack a real punch for their size. Both thin and light they come pre-tuned to Radio Nottingham where Mark Stallard, a Notts fans favourite, supports a BBC Commentator with his professional considerations.
Clarity is good with a plus/minus adjustable volume button that reaches level 7 before you have to press the ok button to go from 7 to levels 8, 9 & 10. This is to protect your ears should you not require it to be this loud. That said, I guess the volume level depends on where you sit in the stadium and the noise level around you. These small compact units fit nicely in the pocket, but a word of warning, the tuning button can start to scan if you accidentally catch it so be mindful how you handle it whilst placing it in your pocket. That said, just press the preset button and it picks up the correct frequency again.
The Radios come fully charged with a set of headphones but we recommend bringing your own personal headphones if you're cautious about cross infections etc.
The DAB Radios can be pre booked via Logan Bruce the club's DSLO 48 hours prior to kick off. Alternatively contact the ticket office.
All radios must be collected and returned to the ticket office both before and after the game.
Alternatively, if you can get a wifi signal in the ground you could use your phone to locate BBC Radio Nottingham or bring your own DAB Radio and tune in via the info below.
